Have just got back from a four hour round trip from Bristol to Exeter in the most atrocious weather to watch the Gas ... how annoying to have actually got to the stadium only to find that the match had been called off.

St James' Park on a sunny day ... didnt look like this tonight !!
Surely someone at the club knew that the game was unlikely to go ahead, why did they wait til 6pm to make the call (and 6.30 to get the announcement out on the radio)?
I wonder how many other loyal blues from our part of town made the trip?
Another example of football fans being mistreated by the administrators of the game - an earlier call-off would have saved lots of people from driving all that way for nothing.
Still, no doubt we will all be there for the rearranged game (whenever that may be).

I must admit that I was quite happy not to have to stand in that monsoon for 3 hours ... am sure the weather gods will let us have a nice sunny evening for the replay !!

ReportSounds like a right mire, literally. At least you weren't standing watching the game and it was pouring down, might be off with lurgee or man flu by now.
