Once again, Cherry's saved the day with a last minute alteration following a catastrophe with my dress. With such fantastic service, why would you go anywhere else........................?!

Having read the good reviews I went to Cherry’s to get my bridesmaid dress altered. I am more than disappointed; I found the service to be rude, poor quality and expensive. The dress required shortening and taking in. Although it was expressed that this would be difficult given the material, Lisa said that she would be able to do it. I was told it would take maximum of 2 weeks, it ended up being over 3 weeks and no contact from the shop. I had to contact them myself and on arrive to collect the dress I was told that she wasn’t able to take the dress in. It is now 2 weeks before the wedding and I have to take the dress to a different tailor; who has not only taken the dress in for a friend already but has done it at half the price! I have not only had to pay a lot for half a service, but in failing to contact me I have now had to rush around to find someone who can do the job. Extremely poor service, I would not recommend her and I certainly wont be returning.

Thanks Lisa for excellently altering several motorcycle leathers promptly, to make the most of the summer.
I had searched for months to find someone to alter leathers without success.
Lisa has made it possible to adjust and repair the many items collected over the years.
I highly recommend the service to any motorcyclists out there.

Cherry was really helpful and creative. I'm an artist/maker and somethings, like sewing, are best left to the professionals. She worked with me to help sort out some proportion problems. She understood exactly what I wanted and finished the work in double time. I'm delighted and would recommend Cherry's Express Alterations anytime. I'll definitely talke all my sewing 'challenges' to Cherry in the future.

Mother in mad panic, prom dress too long. Needed to find a good seamstress and a friend recommened Cherrys. One phone call and a visit to Cherrys is all it took. Fast, efficient and friendly service. I would recommend Cheerrys Express Alterations to all of my friends and family.
CHERRY SAVES THE DAY, THANKS!
Cherry's is the best alterations and repairs place in bristol. I needed to have my wedding dress taken out :) and liza practically had to unstitch the whole thing, and put it together again (it was a very expensive dress) and she did it immaculately! All for £100 (three years ago) I still think of the wonderful job she did now!
This was the first time I have used Cherry's and it was a wonderful experience. Cherry is so delightful, friendly and professional. My coat was altered from a size 12 to a size 8 and it fits a dream now. Thank you Cherry I will definately be spreading your name around my friends. Happy Christmas everyone!!! ally downend
When cherry's was located on lodge causeway I'd past it every week for years not realising what the shop actually was apart from it did alterations.
My sister in law had one or tow things taken up there, she said she was good and not too ppricey so when a friend of mine helped custom build some body armour it didn't sit right, so I took that up there, she was quick to make the adjustments. Also looking at the work done with a keen eye I realised how well she had actually done it...
months later I found my self struck with an idea. For me I tend not to 'follow fashion' and if I could make my own clothes I probably would.... but I cant.
So getting my materials together I got her to copy my favourite style of combats in a snakeskin print.
Since it was relatively big project and I'm never in any great rush. It took a few weeks, for which I'm happy with, since I'd rather some one did take their time.
And low and behold a new pair of shiny combats.
Again doing a bang up job!
Well this fuels my addiction a little more just so I e-bayed more material.
After a little trial an error. I got some pretty exquisite print.
Then again she did an another amazing job on them, my only gripe (and this is me being fussy) the thigh pockets were a bit low.
She has also helped a bit with other body armour issues and custom built armour plating carriers for me, which helps in my line of work.
But you know for me, its not just about going into a place and asking someone to help me create something, yes there are other place that would do that, but you know I like the friendliness.
I go there give her some material and a design, we all have a chat and some friendly banter.
And that's why I enjoy doing business with them.
Also she is very good at problem solving...lol and believe me I do like to throw these curve balls...
