Cafe Maitreya - love food energy
Refreshingly inventive vegetarian food
Cafe Maitreya is by far the best veggie place around, with high quality ingredients making up beautiful, inventive dishes. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but was taken here by an ex who was, and I have to say - whereas I normally shudder at the thought of having to opt for something without meat - I really loved the food here and have returned many times with friends.

Great quality vegetarian food
Cafe Maitreya in Saint Marks Road has been voted the best vegetarian restaurant in the UK by the Vegetarian Society. The food is made from the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients and the staff are welcoming and attentive. Though it is slightly out of the way location wise, its definitely worth seeking out.
