Monday I was famished so we came back to La Passione. It was busy for a week day night but then the food is so good it didn't surpise me. We had the calamari again and the antipasti misto for starters and a pizza each, mine a Marinara and my husband a San Guiseppe washed down with red wine and a lemonade as I was driving us home. Another Great Meal - we will keep on coming back! What a find!

La Passione in Regent Street is a quality, traditional Italian restaurant that serves authentic cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment. Fans of Italian food will find all their favourites on the menu, cooked with fresh ingredients by chefs with a real passion for their craft.
We wanted to treat ourselves on Friday after a week at work so because we'd had such wonderful time on our last visit to La Passione - it was an easy choice. We both had mushrooms to start - mine deep fried in breadcrumbs and served with a lovely dip and hubby had his stuffed with Pate yum yum! Then we went 'all out' and had Steak - I had Sirloin in a brandy and cream sauce and my man chose a beautiful T-bone ( a real man's portion) both came with some of the best reataurant chips I've had in ages. Feeling really piggy we had Banoffee Pie and Ice Cream and Liquer Coffees - If you live in or near Kingswood and haven't sampled this restaurant then you absolutely MUST!

La Passione is all about the price and quality of food. There are many restaurants on Regent Street but La Passione stands out as amongst the best. I agree with the review above - the calamari is just mouth-watering. Even though the vege dishes may be limited, the quality of them is brilliant and appetising.

ReportWe had dinner at La Passione last Thursday for the first time. The calamari starter was ever so light and tasty and the avocado and prawns was really filling. My husband hasn't stopped raving about the Etna Pizza and has said he will never go anywhere else for pizza now! I had Penne Arrabiata which was gorgeous and topped off with a lovely ice cream sundae plus some cappucinos - frothy and creamy. A wonderful night out for dinner and at an amazing price, so if you're hungry I'd definately recommend La Passione - oh and by the way they know how to wait tables so well - excellent, professional, family run place.

I was really hungry and also needed a sit down so I popped into La Passione. Their lunch menu was not far off the price of a sandwich and crisps from the shop anyway. At under £5 each, I had Spagetti Carbonara and my friend had the Penne Arrabiata both meals were delicious and came quickly enough for us busy people. We washed it down with sparkling water and nibbled on the amazingly tasty garlic and tomato flatbread/pizza. The lady who served us was very pleasant and friendly and the other people eating created a lovely atmosphere. Now I found this lovely restaurant I will be going back for dinner!

Before we became vegetarian, this was one of our favourite places to eat - really good food at good prices. The fish and the chicken masala were particularly delicious, and it was a good place to take family. The lunch time pizza and pasta deals are fantastic value, too. It has a nice, casual atmosphere.
Unfortunately their vegetarian choices are limited and not as nice as the dishes for meat-eaters, which is a shame, because we loved it!
