It's interesting to see the sign here welcoming people to Kingswood. Like Fishponds, Kingswood is an area but it has no real boundary. If we are to believe these signs one can walk across Kingswood in 5 minutes in one direction and 20 minutes in another. Yet a lot of people in St George East say that live in Kingswood and even John Cabot Academy isn't in Kingswood, but is actually in Bristol. These signs need to be moved so that Kingswood is an area and not a political boundary. Kingswood in South Glos is extremely small whereas Kingswood in Bristol is far larger. Fishponds is confirmed as 8 miles in circumference and Kingswood should be at least 4 miles in circumference when actually it's about 2 miles following these signs.

The four seasons are determined by changing sunlight (not heat!)—which is determined by how our planet orbits the Sun and the tilt of its axis.
The Met Office classes the first day of spring as March 1 - and says that so do most people - but then the weather forecasters don't always get it right!
Nice pics Becky, it is looking lovely. Due to the bad weather recently I have been walking my dog around there and seeing the flowers in bloom is great. Just goes to show how warm our Winter was and still is for the flowers to bloom like they have been.
