  • October: Hollywood actor, director and author Henry Winkler dropped in to talk to students at the King's Oak Academy in Kingswood
  • November: the Rotunda in Kingswood was knocked down - flats and offices will be built on the site of the former nightclub
  • December: the completion of the £3m refurbishment of Kingswood Leisure Centre
