Where's the cheapest place to buy fuel in the Kingswood area?

Remember when house prices were shooting up, month after month, a few years back? We all shook our heads and asked how much higher they could go.

Now I find myself shaking my head at the price of fuel, now more expensive than ever before, and more rises due before the end of the year.

The AA says families are now spending £52 a month more on petrol than a year ago and I know I'll have no change left over from £60 next time I fill up at the pumps.

I don't know about you but I'm not using my car any the less because of it - I'm cutting back elsewhere.

A quick comparison of forecourt prices around the Kingswood area today revealed Shell at Longwell Green was the most expensive at a whopping 121.9p a litre for both petrol and diesel.

The cheapest was Sainsbury's at Emersons Green at 115.9p for petrol and diesel. Asda was charging 116.9p for both fuels, and at BP at Willsbridge they were both priced at 118.9p. At the one by Tesco in Deanery Road, Warmley, both petrol and diesel were also 118.9p.

You can compare fuel prices daily at www.petrolprices.com - key in your postcode and it'll give you the local highs and lows.

And  every time the Tories DO sort it and  we get landed again with a mess to shovel up after Labour.

Let's wait til May 7th when the people will have made their decision for change.

"We've been here before too many times with the Tories being asked  again and again by the nation to sort out the mess left by the previous incompetent incumbents." lol oh god, ummmmm thatcher, major?  say no more, walked into that one i'm afraid.

Not on about the budget, greasy spoon and his numpties are on about cutting before then so i'm afraid some services will be cut, but don't worry, only the services that will affect the people that were taken in by him and his crew.  The lovely rich people won't be affected.

Global recession heard of it?  Well GB has been spending to stave off that, wonder what greasy would have done, ummmm not a lot by what has been said or unsaid so far from him.

Sainsbury's fuel is now 117.9 per litre. A whole penny more than Asda today.

Beginning to wonder what planet you're on.
You know and I know that  there will be no tax cutting budget. We're in too much of a mess after 13 years of tax and spend profligacy to be able to afford that.  For every three £ Brown has been spending, he's had to borrow another. The interest on our debt alone is enough to fund the whole education budget.
"Pay off our debt".You said it!

We've been here before too many times with the Tories being asked  again and again by the nation to sort out the mess left by the previous incompetent incumbents.
    Time for change.

If and it's a big if, (going by yesterdays figures) greasy gets in, I'm 110% sure he will cut fuel tax without a shadow of a doubt.  I bet the very first day, *swissssssssh* with his fairy wand fuel tax cut by half or even 3/4's.  Just see it now, ahhh yes, fuel soooo low every houshold would be able to run 3 cars at least!  No worries.  While I'm at, when he brings his wand back the other way he will cut duty on cigs, beer and wine as well!  Goodness it feels good to have this wonderful fairy and his wand cutting all these lovely things that the horrible, nasty, grumpy old gordon brown raised taxes on.  But oh hang on, but if the good fairy and his wand cuts all these services, where will he and his unknown chancellor find the money to pay back the money we spent to bail out the banks and save us from doing a Iceland and Greece?   Ohhhh Good Fairy please tell us where you and your mega rich elfs and goblins going to find the money to pay off our debt?
