Strange lights over Staple Hill

Did you see see up to 40 strange lights in the sky over Staple Hill on Saturday?

A witness account has been posted on a UFO website by John Jones, who says that many other people saw what he did shortly before 8pm.

He writes: "As Ieft my front door, my eye was drawn to the sky. I saw at first approx 10 ultra bright, single orange lights in a perfect triangle formation, behind these were up to 25-30 identical lights, occasionally also kn formation, or perfect single file.

"The whole event took place for 3-4 minutes and (was) witnessed by many. The most confusing element was the appearance of two craft, which were seemingly flanking the lights and flying lower. These looked very similar to B2 Spirit Stealth bombers.

"The changes of speed and perfect formations the amazing brightness rules out lanterns."
