Make a song and dance at music and arts festival in Longwell Green

Young people in the Kingswood area are being encouraged to enter a music and arts festival during the October half-term.

The annual Longwell Green Eisteddfod gives youngsters the chance to perform music, speech, drama and dance and be judged by qualified, experienced professionals.

The closing date for dance section entries was last month but for other sections it is September 18.

The festival runs from Monday, October 25 to Saturday, October 30. Speech and music classes will be held in the United Church in Bath Road and dance classes in Longwell Green Memorial Hall in Shellards Road.
