The Green Party today revealed it has raised the £500 needed to cover the deposit to field a candidate in Kingswood in the General Election for the first time ever.
Watch this space to see who they choose! Whoever it is will be up against the current Labour MP Roger Berry, Lib Dem Sally FitzHarris, the Tory candidate Chris Skidmore, UKIP's John Knight and the English Democrats' candidate Michael Blundell.
The boundaries of the constituency change at the next General Election. Frome Vale, Hillfields, Staple Hill and Downend will no longer be part of Kingswood but parts of Hanham, Bitton and Oldland Common that are currently in the Wansdyke constituency will become part of Kingswood.
