Girl robbed near Cadbury Heath pub

A teenage girl has been robbed while walking through Cadbury Heath.
Police have today appealed for information about the crime which happened at about 6.30pm on Tuesday, March 2.
The 16-year-old was walking away from the No 43 bus stop, near The Lamb pub in Newton Road, when a man came up to her, demanded her mobile phone, and tried to snatch it from her hand.
He demanded money, telling her to empty the contents of her handbag on to the floor. He then snatched cash and ran off.
Police have described him as aged between 20 and 30, black, about 5ft 10ins, and of a large build. He was clean-shaven and wearing a grey hooded top and dark blue jeans.
Police believe there were people around at the time, either returning from work or going out for the evening, who may have witnessed the robbery.
