Gang attack on teenager in Warmley

Police are today appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in Tower Road South in Warmley by a gang.

The incident happened last Friday at around 9.25pm. The 14-year-old was approached by a group of around six other teenagers who kicked and punched him to the ground.

The main offender was aged about 16 or 17, and is describe as being of large build. He was about 5ft 4ins and had black spiky hair and an earring in his left ear.

The group made off after the attack.
