European exchange film - good investment or not?

On Saturday 14 year 11 students from Bristol Academy school were representing Bristol with Hannover and Posnan being involved, as part of 'Fresh Flix', the first young person's film festival to feature in the Encounters Film Festival. It will be used during citizenship lessons in England, Poland and Germany.
The project was funded through the European Unions's Youth in Action programme with £10,000 match funding from Bristol City Council.
Dont get me wrong, I hope the project went well, but does anyone else think that £10,000 could have gone to better use from the council funds?? Just seems like a lot of money to spend when I hear about issues such as rats in the area.

Do you need to be so miserable. Some children have got togther and are working hard towards something they are passionate about - at least the are not causing trouble. You just cant win sometimes!
Get a life Migue!
Does anyone know how they got on by the way??
