Great Wall DIscovery.(meningitis research)Kingswood Farmshop

I am the manager of kingswood farm shop in regent street kingswood and i am taking part in a organised charity event on the 25th of May 2013 to raise money for meningitis research.I was one of the very unlucky people who unfortunately had to live out every bodies worst nightmare,when my son was coming up to one year old we were told he had contracted meningitis b,which was the worst form of meningitis.After several weeks of treatment at Southmead Hospital we were also very lucky that firstly he was alive and secondly he was left with no long term impairments.How ever times have moved on a lot now and medical staff are more aware of the symtoms etc and it is detected a lot earlier,but it's still very important to keep raising people's awareness.So I feel its time to also do my part in raising as much as I possibly can for the research charity,I would like every bodies help by either donations at kingswood farm shop or sponsorship for this fantastic well deserved charity,and hopefully reduce the amount of people that will have to go through what myself and my family went through.iIts a tough adventure I'm going to be taking part in,10k per day in 30+ degrees in China walking on the great wall.if you would like any further information please pop into the shop and inquire,I will be more than happy to tell you more.Thanks Jamie Vowles.
