Who watched the leaders' debate tonight? Has it helped you decide who to vote for in Kingswood on May 6? Our own poll (on the home page) shows Tory candidate Chris Skidmore currently in the lead.

Nick Clegg was the only one who looked as if he was enjoying himself - nothing to hide, confident of Lib Dem policies, pasionate to get them across.
He connected with the audience because he speaks their language.
With Nick, what you see is what you get: honesty, decency, fairness.

I agree Sallly. He was impressive. This election has just got more interesting.

I've just found this place...the debate last night changed a lot for me, enough to be wanting to find out more about my local Lib Dem candidate which says it all really.

A rather dull, stilted dabate in my opinion, Clegg was marginally the most impressive.

The Green Party stands in opposition to the cuts agenda of the 3 main parties.

The unknown lib dem guy was the best but then he knows the lib dems won't get in and so can basically let rip with all the gusto he can give. Everyone knows it will be between tories and Labour and will be for several general elections to come. The only reason i can see for these debates is for the 3 parties to persuade any, 'fence sitter voters' to vote for their particular party. There is no point in me watching them as I know I will be voting Labour and no matter what Clegg and greasy will say I won't be changing. That will be the same for all tory and lib dem voters who have already made their minds up.
