Yes they are going to be extending the front of the store in the new year - just when you thought it couldn't get any bigger!

I think that "footpath" is either the on or off car park ramp.

I wasn’t sure if it was a footpath or a ramp – couldn’t work out how we were going to get our trolleys up the steps otherwise! A source tells me that only Asda workers will be using the top deck to start, not the customers, with and that when extension work starts on the store after Christmas there will be a travelator to take people in and out.

Having just visited Asda Longwell Green for the first time this year has any body any idea where the Disabled car parking will be when the work is complete,Most of the old places appear to be under the new extension. I am disabled and blue badge parking is very important to me.

The disabled spaces are currently by the store to the right as you look at it, if that helps.

On February 16th, Asda submitted a planning application for 111 new signs for the site. You can view and comment on application PK10/0345/ADV on the southglos website, but the considered opinion of Oldland Parish Council will be taken more seriously.
