Taxi fares in our area in to town and to the airport are really expensive. Does anyone know a good taxi company and what they charge?
Town shouldn't cost any more than about £8.00 and the airport no more than £16.00

Well Richard I've not been able to find any charging £16 from Kingswood to Bristol Airport - let us all know if you do!
I put in a call to Tone's Taxis - they were the last firm I used coming back from Bath and were really friendly and as I remember I didn't feel ripped off.
This morning they quotedme £32 for a one-way trip from Kingswood to Bristol Airport, based on four people sharing.
Hanham and Warmley Taxis based in Moravian Road in Kingswood quoted £26 for four people in a standard car but said if a bigger car was needed (for all the luggage) it would be £36.
Geordie Taxis were the cheapest at £25 - their cars carry a maximum of four people.
Anyone know of anyone prepared to do it cheaper?
