Kingswood construction work?

Hey all

does anybody know what is happening in kingswood outside of iceland? There seems to be construction work in progress

Hi Jordan, I asked one of the builders he said it's going to be a coffee shop. He didn't say which brand, so couldn't tell you if it was a major chain or just a localised one. Hope this helps.

Are Boswells going for a record height of their building then. Seems nothing was done on it for ages then all of a sudden the metal joists are higher then then Red wooden surround. Does anyone know how tall it's going to be? Not so sure i like to own any of the shops it's going to be built in front of. Retailers like to have their shops front visible from the road for obvious reasons, don't think they will when it's built.

The building work outside iceland and kingschase is a nightmare,as a disabled person who uses a mobillity scooter i was forced when crossing the lights onto the main road by bollards as a huge lorry was parked up on the pavement this diversion almost cost me my life as they made NO provision for getting back onto the pavement and i had to ride head on in the busy main road to the lights near iceland when a bus turned the corner and almost hit me,shaken by the whole affair i complained on site and by phone to BOSWELLS.
Does anyone know what rights we have when they block the pavement? surely the safety of pedestrians is paramount. the mobility scooter could not climb the kerb near the bus stop as they are way too high.
