What? lol oh my, didn't realise i had to come here for a good a laugh. There is no way he is looking desperate you must mean, osborne, (Ed Balls completely wiped the floor with him this week over the economy and he had no answer to simple questions), cameron, "I'm the only tory tax cutter mp" lol yeah right and so desperate for some good luck, phoned the ex-cricketer darren gough to plead with him to try for the Barnsley by-election. cleggy being beat up by the tory back benchers over his remarks on the university fees. Everywhere you look the coalition are in disaray and they know it. Don't think we will have to wait for the next election before the tories and their lap dogs the lib dems tear each other apart.
Osbourne v Ed Balls. The same Ed Balls who run out of ideas when Labour were running the country. Osbourne is having to pick up the scraps left from a country that was almost bust. Every time Labour are in office they leave the country is ashes.

Reportsee that is the trouble with you tories, have no idea what to do yourselves just blame the Labour party for everything. Are you old enough remember thatcher? Probably not, well we are still paying for her mistakes when she was in government. cameron is as he said in his own words, "i am one of thatcher's children" scary isn't it. Ed Balls asked a simple question to osborne, "Britain had snow, our planes were grounded, unemployment went down, our economy was .05%. In the US, they had snow, their planes were grounded, but unemployment is up, their economy is 1.8%. Do they have different snow to us in the states?" osborne didn't answer as he had no answer to it even when asked again, all he did was to blame Labour. just so typical of this coalition.
Hilarious. Margaret Thatcher took over from in 1979 when James Callaghan's government lost a motion of no confidence. Sound familiar? History repeats itself in 2010. Still paying for Margaret Thatchers mistakes. Really? She took over a country in ashes and put the Great back in to Great Britain, leaving office as the most successful Prime Minister of all peace time. The country free of debt and the unions which broke companies was powerless and broken. Tony Blair was the real apprentice of Margaret Thatcher, but where she was an Iron World Leader, Tony Blair was a weak follower. The US do not have different snow, but they are a different country, your question has no substance. Labour has led since 1997 until 2010. Give the Tory's a starting chance to sort Britain out after inheriting a system of 13 years without real leadership. Gordon Brown was at the top of government for 10 years before becoming premier and he couldn't answer questions by David Cameron and asked for time to learn the job. Shocking.

Reportthatcher ruined this country, sold off our council houses so no cheap housing thanks to her. She killed the coal industry selling off all the companies put thousands out of work, (very much like cameron is doing now, funny that eh, repeat of history). Thankfully the poll tax when people rose up against her which got rid of the most hated woman in politics. The unions put you where you are now, gave you extra weeks holiday, made it so you only have to work 5 days a week, gave you overtime with a decent wage. Without the unions you be earning about £2 an hour. Take a good look at how the unions started before you dismiss them. Tony Blair son of thathcer lol oh dear you are a funny little man. The question osborne was asked by Ed was a very simple one. Different countries yes, but same problems but some how they improved but we went back, osborne didn't know how to answer because he had no answer, no plan B to save this country. Wonder what excuse he will use in a couple of months when the economy is still dragging the floor, too many leaves on the rail ways i expect.. All finance experts said before the coalition started to tear this country apart, cuts are needed but slow shorter cuts. osborne who loved how the irish was run is following the same path and look how that has panned out for ireland, wonderful. The police are being cut, so don't start to moan if you or your family get mugged and no one comes to help you, don't be ill, cameron is shredding that slowly so soon you will have to pay for cancer or life saving operations like they do in camerons beloved United States health reforms. Best buy a Kindle as there will be no libraries to read books thanks to the closing of many of them. Council tax rising while the cameron's tory millionaire friends get richer and richer. Kids no longer afford to goto university except for the tory kids and on and on, big society what a joke, they have no clue whatsoever how to run an old people's bingo let alone the country.
Margaret Thatcher's government sold off the council houses to give poor people a chance of prosperity and to save the country an unprecedented amount of money in upkeep and redevelopment. 66% of all homes after the second world war were council houses. People have more opportunity today than ever before in the history of Britain (or should I say, they did before Labour created this recession by saving their friends jobs in the banks) and looking after their own. Labour couldn't allow Northern Rock to fold, they'd have lost their bread & butter voters who keep them alive, very political.
The country was producing coal which nobody wanted. British coal was useless for 1980s power stations and so coal mines were closed and modern energy replaced a Victorian style of living. The conservatives do not have a plan B, but Labour didn't even have a plan A. At least now we have some leadership and common sense. Labour will inevitably serve office again in 10 years and so the cycle continues. Tory's preserve and get the country to a level of responsible standards and Labour are elected to be reckless. It is an ongoing trend. To answer you other points, we will not see Conservative Policies in this government because they have to try and rescue the country first and we will come out of this storm with North East Asia becoming the world super power and thanks to Labour we may have to join Europe to compete for business. Very sad.

I forgot to add that it was Labour who created tuition fees and replaced the grant system with a loan system. The Coalition inherited a white elephant and with the country in almost £1tn of debt how else can they rescue education? Labour didn't need to charge young people tuition fees because the country was in excellent shape with Tony Blair came to office. The Coalition weren't nearly as fortunate and now pay £2bn a week in interest alone. The Conservatives aren't closing Libraries, local government are prioritising their cuts. Some councils must believe that Libraries aren't needed. Some will close swimming pools but it is all political. Look at Manchester, the Labour run council is trying to prove a point. It is all political. They lost the election and now local Labour run councils are throwing their toys out of the pram.

Reportonce again you tories, you DIDN'T win the election, neither did Labour neither did the Lib/Dems in otherwords, NO ONE won the election hence the coalition, now try not to forget that. cameron is only pm due to the help from his lap dogs of the lib/dems and the irish mp's without them he wouldn't be in power. Also to remind you, after a party has been in for 2 or 3 terms the voting public wants a change that's why no one party has lasted more then 3 terms. Due to the huge cuts is why the councils are slashing things, the council get their budgets from the government. So the coalition won't have any policies this term of office? oh that's a good one haha, pretty poor excuse and i'm sure cameron would knock you back on that one. Several times the tories and lib/dems have gone back on policies they said the wouldn't do before the election but now are doing them, up front lying at it's very worst.
You're wrong King1, the Conservative Party did win the election but not with enough votes to have an overall majority. 1974 and 1979 were the last times that Britain was in this position. People do not like their lives changed. You only have to look at the poll ratings weeks before the election to understand that the Conservative Party would have won with a 10 point lead but David Cameron was too honest in saying that the cuts will be huge and we are all in this together. The live discussions saw a lot of voters lean towards the Liberal Democrats as well. Yes, those discussions where Gordon Brown always agreed with Nick. People didn't vote for Labour, they voted for Tony Blair. David Cameron is a legitimate leader whereas Gordon Brown wasn't. Of course the Coalition have had to go back on their word, they weren't expecting to be faced with a £780bn deficit and a letter from the Alistair Darling to say that there is nothing left. Another 10 years under Labour and we wouldn't be able to have these online discussions because we would live in a dictatorship. The Coalition are having to waste 1000's hours scrapping surveillance society measures that should have ever been planned out or implemented.

Reportif the tories won why aren't they in power on their own? see they didn't win they just had more seats but not enough for an overall majority so as i said, no one wanted any party. cameron honest? lmao oh stop, cameron lied and lied and lied just like clegg has. Polls are never correct just see how clegg lib/dems ended up, you would think he would have 600 mp's by the look of the polls and he ended up with 40 or something. cameron is the one who said there was no money but funny how they find it when helping out their rich friends. "Another 10 years under Labour and we wouldn't be able to have these online discussions because we would live in a dictatorship." what?????? omg have you seen what cameron and his mate murdoch are trying to do with the BBC? soon we will have the lying, terrible Fox news here, do you seriously want that? Have your phone tapped by murdoch's News of the screws and have them get away with it as the police are told not to investigate.
The conversation has digressed but I'll just add that The Conservatives could have led alone but they wouldn't have had much clout. The Lib Dems couldn't have worked with Labour, too much power had gone to both Peter Mandelson's and Gordon Brown's heads. David Cameron played the right card and gave the Lib Dems the power that they deserved and now both parties lead with compromise and democratic values, something we haven't seen for 13 years. Is this the same Rupert Murdock who met with Tony Blair in 1997 on Rupert Murdock Island before The Sun Newspaper changed from being a tory paper and advised people to vote Labour? In 1997 is was well known that The Sun Newspaper with the News of the World had the power to elected governments here. Tony Blair left the Murdock Empire alone after this. Funny how you chose not to mention this.

Reportthe lib dems would have gone with Labour but Labour didn't like some of their demands on policy hence why the are now sleeping with the Devil. "now both parties lead with compromise and democratic values," if you call lying and going back on policy then yeah your right. What you seem to forget also about murdoch is how he helped the tory party before that. He will help any party that he thinks will let him off tax benefits and let him into our media. Labour are more BBC friendly then cameron and the tories aren't, cameron hates the BBC because he feels they always give the tories a bad press and are uncontrollable so murdoch and him are good bed fellows. Tony Blair didn't have to think about murdoch because it's only now that he wants to buy the rest of BskyB. Which in doing so will have a greater say over the media as I have mentioned before.
May I this time by-pass the party political banter and refer to the start of this thread. This week's Prime Ministers Questions is now on the BBC Democracy website and I-player. Anyone can look at this and will see that Ed Miliband asked very reasonable and pertinent questions in a very clear and precise manner. David Cameron did not properly answer the questions, took quotations out of context and gave some misleading figures. All political commentators agreed that Ed Miliband's performance was very good. The issues he raised about the "Big Society" and how it can affect Kingswood could with benefit be debated here.
