Appeal for information about criminal damage in Kingswood on Halloween

Police today appealed for information after a car was overturned in Kingswood on Halloween night.
The Austin Metro car had been parked in Moravian Road. It was overturned at about 8.15pm.
Police also revealed today that a 16-year-old boy was arrested and bailed in Kingswood over damage caused to a fence on Halloween night.
And they also confiscated fireworks from children in Hanham.
Uniformed police and officers in plain clothes were out and about in force in the area on Halloween and were joined by Police Community Support Officers, Special Constables and volunteers to provide a reassuring presence on the streets.
Chief Inspector Yannis Georgiou, who co-ordinated the force-wide operation, said: "This coming weekend we will again have officers out and about in local communities, patrolling in anti-social behaviour hotspot areas, so that families can experience a safe and enjoyable Bonfire Night.
"We will not tolerate any form of anti-social or nuisance behaviour and it will be dealt with firmly."

There seems to be a growing number of under 16's congregating around Kingswood and causing trouble. I refuse to go anywhere near Kingswood park after dark for this reason. For some reason they seem to be running riot in Kingswood lately.

ReportGiven that Moravian Road is just round the corner from Pettigrove Road, I'm assuming that the guilty party carried out both acts of vandalism, especially when a car on Pettigrove Road was subjected to an attempted flipping.

ReportThis is just Crazy! why do silly little children do things like this? they spoil it for everyone eles. I hope that the Police do deal with them firmly, but even then the Courts will no doubt let them off!!!!!
