Woman sexually assaulted on Crews Hole Road, Bristol: Police witness appeal

A woman was sexually assaulted on Crews Hole Road, Bristol on Friday, January 25 at about 8pm.

A police spokesman said: "A woman was walking along Crews Hole Road when a man cycled past her. As she continued on her journey she spotted the bike on the ground and a man urinating in a bush, she continued to walk when the man caught up and engaged her in conversation.

"Shortly after he became indecent in his conversation and then sexually assaulted her. The woman managed to get away and carried on walking but the man followed her. He rode off when she approached a house to ask for help."

Officers investigating this incident would now like to speak to a man who is described as white, aged 17 to 18; around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins and of a slim build.

He had short hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a grey hooded top, black shell bottoms and was riding a white mountain bike with thick tyres.

Police would also like to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the man in the area. Those with information are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 8062/13.
