Teenagers robbed by gang after party in Mangotsfield

A 10-strong gang wearing hoodies and bandanas robbed teenagers of mobile phones, MP3 players, money and clothing in Mangotsfield last night.
Around 80 teenagers had been at a party on the Pomphrey Hill playing fields, bordered by the A4174 and Pomphrey Hill and Cossham Street.
As the party was breaking up, between 9.30pm and 10pm, a group of 10 males wearing hooded tops and bandanas and riding pushbikes committed several robberies.
A police spokesman said: "This is very significant to the local community as it is highly unusual in the area. "If anyone has any information please either contact 0845 456 7000 and ask for South Gloucestershire CID or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111."
