Rugby fans wanting to enjoy this year's six-nation's tournament on what is arguably the best big screen in Bristol should head to Horts on Broad Street.

Already a popular destination for many big sporting occasions, the opening of a brand new, 26-seat luxury cinema called The Director's Cut, has now placed the pub as the definitive venue to take in all the action as Europe's finest do battle for the coveted title.

With cinema quality sound and giant cinema-quality screen, those who make their way to the pub will experience the game like never before possibly enjoying a better experience than actually being at the games themselves!

The club leather chairs, personal foot stools and side tables also add a luxury feel to the venue complemented by the range of excellent ales and new menu of grazing plates, sharing boards and pub classics.

Richard Fairchild, manager at Horts is now looking forward to welcoming fans from all nations who will add to what will already be an electric atmosphere.

Richard said: "The six-nations is like no other tournament and is the envy of the sporting world.  Fans from all the countries mingle, enjoy a drink or two and generally have a great time. It's what makes it so special.

"Now that we've got this brilliant new cinema and screen we're looking forward to packing it out and giving fans a rugby experience they will never forget.

"Also those who reserve a seat to watch the games in The Director's Cut will then get the first round of Guinness on us – what could be better!"

The tournament kicks off on Saturday 1 February with Wales taking on Italy at 2.30pm. This is followed by 'Le Crunch' as England tackle France in Paris at 5.00pm. Then on Sunday Ireland entertain Scotland in Dublin with a 3.00pm kick off.

The tournament then continues throughout February and March ending on 15 March when the new champions will be crowned.

Richard added: "We're showing all games and we can't wait for the action to start. It's going to be a great tournament and is once again too close to call. Whatever the outcome, we'll make sure fans have a great afternoon in the luxurious surroundings."

Tickets for the six nation's special cost £20 per person. This includes a guaranteed seat in the Director's Cut, a pint plus burger or pizza. For future games those who have been before will only have to pay £5.
