Can Kingswood bid to become a Portas Pilot

Kingswood Shopping area has gone from being one of the wider areas most successful shopping areas and today along with most district centres across the UK it's feeling the 21st century struggle.

Wetherspoon is built on what was a very popular market while Longwell Green, Emersons Green, Eastgate and Morisons in Fishponds have all popped up over the past 18 years and customers have driven outside to get to other stores.  However Kingswood is still going really well but Two Mile Hill is struggling and so are shops towards Hanham Road.

Can Kingswood get a healthy team of volunteers together to bid to become a Portas Pilot?  Bedminster is another area in Bristol and South Glos which could be chosen for this great opportunitiy.
