An innovative start-up that won funding on Dragons' Den is looking for a new base to expand its business, using a commercial property search website that is featuring available space in Bristol.

Rebecca Baldwin and Andrea McDowell, who run the wedding videography company Shoot It Yourself, turned to PropertyDNA.com and were impressed with the business premises available in the City.

The two entrepreneurs picked up £60,000 investment from self-made businesswoman Dragon Hilary Devey in 2011 and since then their company has gone from strength to strength.

"We've both got kids," said Rebecca, and as much as we love living London we want more space for the business and a better quality of life. Bristol was high on our list of potential locations. It's got great motorway connections and London's just a short hop away on the train."

Rebecca discovered Bristol's potential after she turned to the national website PropertyDNA.com which has been showcasing offices, shops and warehouses in Bristol that are available to rent or sale.

The site features thousands of business premises from over 100 agents, so firms can go to one online site and find the offices, shop premises or industrial unit that they need.

"As we can send the video cameras to anywhere in the UK, we can base ourselves wherever we find the best office space. The website really helped us work out how much space we needed and to see what was available in different locations and compare what was on offer, as well as flagging possible additional costs such as VAT and Business Rates which we needed to factor into our budget." said Rebecca.

Shoot It Yourself provides video cameras to wedding guests together with guidance on how to film their friends' big day. The company then edits the footage into a broadcast-quality DVD.

"We are delighted to have been able to help Shoot-it-Yourself in their search for the perfect location for their growing business," said Alice Edwards, director of PropertyDNA.

PropertyDNA.com, a national website for commercial property, is focussing on Bristol property with many agents putting their available space on the site so businesses can go to one place on the web and find the offices, shop premises or industrial unit that they need.
