Juice Community Project has been running in Cadbury Heath for 4 years, relying on funding from grants and generous donations from various companies and individuals. Our aim is to help create a real and lasting impact on the local community, bringing people together and offering services at our information drop in centre.

One of the projects that Juice runs is Fun in the Park, a free open access play scheme for primary school aged children in the local area taking place during school holidays. In it's second full summer, Fun in the Park saw over 170 different children come and join in. We offer both indoor and outdoor activities for the children, with an ever growing team of volunteers working with us.

Although we do not charge children to come to Fun in the Park, it costs us £3.75 for a child per day, which adds up to approximately £800 per week. This covers rent of the youth centre, sports equipment, and fresh fruit for the children.

This year Juice Community Project has registered with NatWest Community Force, an initiative in its second year which grants the winners an award of £6000, plus the option of having a team of volunteers come to work with them. The winners are determined by an online public vote taking place from 26th September until 23rd October. The potential money awarded from this initiative would cover the costs of Fun in the Park for a whole summer, including 2 sports coaches.

If you'd like to help us reach our goal and win this award then all it takes is a few minutes of your time to register your details and vote. You can do all of that here, at the Juice Community Project page on the Community Force website.

Every vote counts, and we greatly appreciate your help. You can vote here, at
