Kingswood scored 3 tries in the opening 6 minutes of this fixture to lead them to a bonus point win over sorry Spartans.

Mark McGarrigle touched down from No. 8 from a push over scrum with less than 1 minute on the clock, and this set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.

Tries soon followed from veteran Stan Bailey and then another from Mark McGarrigle, finishing off a great run from Captain Ben Phillips.

Centre James Willmott added another 1st half try and it looked as though Kingswood were heading for a whitewash. However, a spirited fight back from Spartans saw them score either side of half time to pull the scores back to 24-10.

After the shock two tries, Kingswood then took command of the game once again and it was simply a waiting game for more points. With Kingswood running Spartans back in the scrums, they were unlucky not to have a Penalty Try after several collapsed scrums went unpunished.

Kingswood continued to battle though and eventually Props Mike Oakley and Damien Crosswell both smashed over the line to take Kingswood out to a comfortable 36-10 lead.

With the final whistle came a huge sigh of relief and 6th position in the league. Watch the video highlights online, only available for the next 24 hours! http://bit.ly/waalwL
